Lana Del Rey - National Anthem

Lana Del Rey has exploded onto the music scene within the past few months. Her LP 'Born to Die' drops January 31st but "National Anthem," a track off the album, has leaked onto the web and already gone viral. What is it with this big lipped beauty? Is she just going to be another Ke$ha? All I know is that between 'Video Games,' 'Off to the Races,' and 'National Anthem,' I sure am liking what I'm hearing thus far and I can't wait to hear more. Ok... one point for this amazing album artwork and two points for teaming up with Tegan Quin on a track. For some reason that's unknown, I'm just now hearing about Charles Andrew Bothwell (the mind behind the Indie Hip-hop alias Astronautalis.) He's based out of Minneapolis and has just released his fourth full length. Yes fourth. It really kills me when people like this slip under my radar.
